i think the 100k movement is really quite cool.
its basically this thing where this group of christians aim to bless 100,000 people during the national day period, and like you can choose which blessings you want and the person who introduces you to it will pray for you throughout the month.
i didnt really want to be involved in it at first, because im not christian and i dont really want to trouble people to pray for me or anything. but like well, every one else at today's group meeting was doing it and i didnt want to seem rude by insisting on not doing.
evan took me and janice, and i chose three things! wisdom/intelligence (MATH OMG.) , family health (my grandmother's been in hospital for surgery this past week), and friendships/relationships!
janice chose inner peace and forgiveness, which really made me feel quite bad. cause the stuff i chose were kind of materialistic, i guess.
hahah if it actually works on next week's math test i might just start believing, dammit.
okay but i dont know. the prayer evan did for me and janice was really cool luh. a teensy bit freaky because it was so serious-like, but nevertheless, a lil inspiring.
and okay whateverrr i said the basic ideals didnt really make sense, i didnt say it was completely stupid.
